As regular visitors to the park or our website will know, we are very proud that Vauxhall Park was designed by Fanny Wilkinson, the first professional female landscape gardener. In July 2025, we were invited to the unveiling of a statue to Fanny Wilkinson in Wandsworth’s Coronation Park. We were delighted to join with the Friends of Coronation Gardens, Wandsworth Council, The Heritage of London Trust and the Metropolitan Public Gardens Association to celebrate this remarkable lady.
